We are a small family business that takes pride in becoming friends and even family with those whom we serve with our
healthy, hearty, satisifying home-cooked meals. Before you consider our service, you should know who we are.

Our Philosophy
We believe that good food is the foundation of a good life. We believe in
locally grown, natural, organic food when available. We believe in eating limited preservatives and chemicals.
We believe in eating a balanced and varied diet of moderation while enjoying those foods that bring you bliss.
We believe in working and living as a family. Though our children are young, they work in the garden and help in
the kitchen as they are able.
We believe that food made with professionalism and love is better than food made in bulk. We know that you shouldn't
eat food that contains ingredients made in a laboratory. We really believe that our service makes our clients lives
better, and we take great pride in that.
The objective of our business is to provide a high quality product and reliable service for our customers
while building friendships that we hope will last a lifetime. We hope you will enjoy visiting our web site and using
our products as much as we enjoy providing them for you.
Our Employees
There are only four employees in this business, and we all live together.
Angela Davis is Mom. Angela is a wonderful cook and the master of our menus and cook schedules. She holds
a Masters Degree in Holistic Nutrition and is anxious to bring her knowledge of and passion for nutrition to your family.
You may recognize Angela from her involvement at Topeka Civic Theatre as an actress, or from her active participation in The Topeka Chamber Of Commerce.
Stacey Davis is Dad. Stacey is a talented cook, a relentless cleaner, and
a charming visitor during meal deliveries. Stacey worked as an Electrical Engineer in Topeka for many years, then operated
retail stores in the greater Topeka area for 13 years, and now offers his eye for detail and love of good and healthy food
to your family. Stacey stays busy volunteering as the Director for The People's School (http://www.thepeoplesschool.com/) and enjoys an active photographic hobby that is slowly transforming into a part-time photography business (http://www.flickr.com/photos/staceydavis/).
Evander Davis is a Magic Meals Junior Chef and the three year old son of Stacey and Angela.
He brings his love of life and good things to eat to our family business. He helps wash dishes and is the master of
charm during our trips to deliver meals to our client's homes.
Marley Davis is our second Junior
Chef. Having joined the Magic Meals team in April 2009, Marley is perfecting the art of food tasting.

Our Company
Over the last five years Magic Meals has grown, adapted, and evolved to become the home-cooked meal delivery service
that we are today. In 2004 Angela and Stacey were looking for a new business that not only appealed
to our personal interests and skills but would eventually allow us lots of flexibility when we began our family.
We found the idea of Personal Chefs on the Internet. It's very popular on both coasts but was relatively
unknown here in Topeka. In the fall of 2004 we began Magic Meals Personal Chefs, offering our cooking
services in the homes of our clients. Within six months, our little business had reached our limited capacity. In
summer of 2006 we purchased a small home south of Topeka that had a small second kitchen in the walk-out basement. After
some remodeling and work with both the authorities of Shawnee County and the State of Kansas, we opened a meal delivery service
out of our permitted and state-licensed kitchen located in the walk-out basement of our home. In the last
two years our business has grown to include a wide range of clients, including medically restricted diets, weight loss, weight
gain, and a special relationship with the senior citizens of our community who are striving to stay healthy, happy and independent
in their own homes.
Our State-Licensed Kitchen
We'll have more pictures of the kitchen soon....for now here's the outside of our little country home and large
garden that provides much of our summer produce.
